Chaos Build Process

  • 100% Wood-free, composite construction
  • Decks and lids cored with pvc foam core for strength and weight reduction
  • Multi-directional  fiberglass cloth for strength benefits
  • Trevera for better cosmetics and strength on all hull sides
  • Vacuum bagging used on all models to get optimal glass to resin ratio and strength
  • All stages of lamination are tested and must meet a 20  (minimum) Barcol reading hardness analysis before proceeding to the next stage of the build process which guarantees better cosmetics and stability in the laminate structure
  • Hulls cored for less weight and superior strength
  • All hardware thru bolted where accessible for maximum strength and durability
  • All wiring meets or exceeds NMMA and ABYC requirements
  • All highest grade stainless steel hardware and fittings
  • All production stages go thru a stringent QA process and the boat does not move to the next stage until approved by the QA department as opposed to “correcting” issues at the end of the build process
